About Me

Jane Lush
I’ve recently completed Steiner class teacher training in the UK and am now back home in NZ, training to teach Maths and Physics at High School. Music is a life-long passion of mine, and I particularly love singing, playing the trombone and piano. I currently work part-time at Christchurch Rudolf Steiner School, leading Cantabile (Year 7/8 compulsory choir), Junior Concert Band (Year 7/8) and Senior Concert Band (Year 8+). I’m also a member of Sideling Swing Big Band, where I play trombone, and Singing for our Lives, an activist choir focused mainly on climate change but also other social issues. I’ve completed Level 1 Orff training, which was fabulous, and look forward to continuing to upskill myself musically.
