I am a NZ Registered Music Therapist working in mental health and child development services. I am also President of Music Therapy New Zealand. I studied music and drama in the UK and spent several years working as an actress/musician before training to become a music therapist, graduating in 2003. I have a long history of singing in choirs, including Maspindzeli Georgian Choir (founded by Helen Chadwick) and the London Bulgarian Choir (founded by Dessislava Stefanova). I moved to New Zealand in 2005 and now live and work in Greymouth on the beautiful West Coast of the South Island. I currently run Waiata Koha Gift of Song Community Choir in Greymouth.
