Heather Fletcher is a NZ Registered Music Therapist working in Child & Adolescent Mental Health and Adult Mental Health. She is also Chair of Music Therapy New Zealand. Heather studied music and drama in the UK and spent several years working as an actress/musician before training to become a music therapist, graduating in 2003. Heather has a long history of singing in choirs, including Maspindzeli Georgian Choir (founded by Helen Chadwick) and the London Bulgarian Choir (founded by Dessislava Stefanova). Heather moved to New Zealand in 2005 and now lives and works in Greymouth on the beautiful West Coast of the South Island. She currently runs Waiata Koha Gift of Song Community Choir in Greymouth.
