Community Choir @ The Boathouse
Community Choir at The Boathouse meets every Monday from 7-9pm at The Boathouse on Nelson Haven. Founded in 2013 by Alice Robin and Guy Redmond, the choir's main purpose is to have fun together and welcomes all singers regardless of ability. All learning is done by ear and there is no need to read music. The choir has been involved in many collaborative community projects such as Light Nelson, Masked Parade, Waitangi Day, Nelson Cathedral, Choirs by Candlelight, and Singing with the Steinway.
